Alexa McKaig, training coordinator, is part of Greenleaf’s team that serves USAID’s Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) training unit. She works with other Greenleaf BHA team members and client stakeholders to optimize and implement standard operating procedures for training unit activities. This includes maintaining the training calendar, processing course applications, and managing related databases and reporting.
Alexa comes to Greenleaf from the National Science Teaching Association in Arlington, Va., where she served for two years as a customer service representative. In this role she resolved customerconcerns by phone and e-mailas well as managed teachers’ membership and conference registrations.
Prior to that, Alexa served as a circulation assistant at the Sunrise Library in Las Vegas, Nev. There, she entered data into integrated library automation systems, resolved customer service requests and problems, and managed the front desk operations.
Alexa holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
