Anders Selhorst, Senior LMS Administrator at Greenleaf, is part of the team that serves USAID’s Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) training unit. Working closely with the OFDA team and leadership, he’s responsible for ensuring a quality online learning experience as well as enabling the creation and improvement of training resources for the LMS platform. This includes overseeing the system’s upgrades, tools, and software as well as supporting the design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of content, assets, and other LMS resources used in the instructional and training functions.

Previously, Anders was a senior instructional design specialist as part of Greenleaf’s OFDA team. In that role, he created and implemented training programs to improve staff competencies as well as helped learners navigate OFDA’s training environment.

Anders’ extensive e-learning and training experience includes instructional design, project management, and leadership roles within fast-paced, demanding environments. Prior to joining Greenleaf, he was the manager of instructional design and learning development with the American Payroll Association in Washington, D.C. For several years before that, Anders served federal and state agencies as well as higher education and non-profit clients as an instructional systems design and project management contractor. His career also includes instructional design and course development positions with several educational institutions.

Anders earned a Master of Education degree in curriculum and instruction from Tufts University in Boston, Mass. He earned a Master of Library and Information Science degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and classical studies from University of North Carolina Greensboro in Greensboro, N.C.
