Cathy Bowes is a coach with Greenleaf and is part of the team serving USAID’s Jordan mission. Clients’ management and staff members rely on her coaching expertise to support their development of leadership and supervisor skills as well as their capacity to mitigate operational stress, communicate more effectively, resolve conflicts, and more.
Cathy has been helping government organizations and their employees achieve their performance objectives for 30 years. Her expertise spans leadership, life, and team coaching as well as training, group facilitation, organizational development, mentoring, and strategic planning.
Cathy’s experience includes 20 years as an employee at USAID, where she served in a variety of roles. In addition to carrying out her regular duties, she often facilitated meetings in which she assisted various groups adopt the organizational changes required to achieve USAID’s goals.
Cathy has lived in or worked with clients in Angola, China, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea, India, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Myanmar, Niger, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Cathy earned her Master of Public Health degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, N.C., and her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the College of St. Catherine’s in St. Paul, Minn.
She holds a coaching certification from the International Coach Federation. She is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
