Kessie Petit-Frere, trainer, is part of Greenleaf’s team that serves USAID’s Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA). She works with other Greenleaf BHA team members and client stakeholders to optimize and implement standard operating procedures for training unit activities, prepare classroom deliveries, and assist in post-course processing.
She comes to Greenleaf from the U.S. Office of Management and Budget in Washington, D.C., where she served as a program specialist. Her numerous responsibilities included coordinating all deliverables and congressional processes for the OMB health division as well as ensuring management and performance compliance around key initiatives, including human capital issues.
Previously, Kessie served as an educator and trainer at the Peace Corps in Ohrid, North Macedonia. Her responsibilities included advising on multiple USAID small grants for sustainable development projects in youth development, education, municipalities, and non-governmental organizations. She also launched a life skills training program for youth.
Kessie holds a Master of Arts degree in international relations from St. John’s University in Rome, Italy. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in government and politics from St. John’s University Jamaica, N.Y.
